The President Macià Work Medal

The President Macià Work Medal and Plaque were created in 1938 by the Minister of Labor at the time, the Honorable Mr. Joan Comorera i Soler. They bear the name President Macià in honor of the first president and restorer of the modern Generalitat.

In 1982, the Generalitat de Catalunya recovered these awards with the aim of distinguishing the people and entities that, with their efforts and their example, contribute to consolidating the economic activity of our country.

This year, the Government of Catalonia grants the President Macià Medal for Labor to the manager of the Cooperative, Roser Vila.

It is awarded as recognition to individuals who have stood out for their personal qualities or merits or for the services provided for the benefit of general interests, within the world of labor.

The Cooperative congratulates her for this recognition of the work carried out for 50 years, for her perseverance, and for all the effort contributed to the entity.
